This painting is part of my series that I call "Stained Glass" As a sailor in the Atlantic Ocean off Florida and the Bahamas, I've fished for these fish for years. People get defensive when you say you caught a Dolphin as their called in Florida. These are fish and we all love the mammal of the same name. "The mahi-mahi or common dolphinfish is a surface-dwelling ray-finned fish found in off-shore temperate, tropical, and subtropical waters worldwide. Also widely called dorado and dolphin"
